This is an original piece using the inspiration of Ellen Anne Eddy's techniques.  The design is embellished with thread painting to add shading.  The piece has various types of fibers; rayon, metallic and novelty yarns were added to fabric to create this fiber art. Measures 21 1/2" X 17 1/2". Created by fiber artist Klonda Holt.

This quilt was inspired by the book " Strips & Curves", by Louisa L. Smith.  The design is a new spin on strip piecing using a combination of linear and circular patterns.  Cherrywood fabric is the main selection of fabric, also in the piece is some painted fabric.  The quilt is quilted with glitter thread to bring into the piece a glistening sheen.
